This song has been around for months and I am now hearing it everywhere.
“Get You” by Daniel Ceasar ft. Kali Uchis is beautiful, and tender, and just may be THE love song that defines his generation.
I’m so happy for him. I love when Toronto gets shine.
When he hit that first “ooooo” in falsetto for the chorus, I had to stop the song, sit, process what I had just heard, then start the song over from the beginning. The last time I did that was with Frank Ocean’s “Thinkin’ ‘Bout You” years ago.
I might be a sucker for a falsetto, but the song is THAT good.
